Field Service Technician
Location: Multiple Locations / Travel-Based Role
Travel Required: 50% – 75%

About the Role
Are you a hands-on problem solver who thrives on travel, technology, and customer interaction? WEM Automation LLC is looking for a Field Service Technician to be a key player in delivering world-class automation solutions to our customers. In this dynamic role, you'll be on the front lines—installing, troubleshooting, and supporting our cutting-edge process control systems at client sites across the country.

What You'll Do
- Commission and support WEM’s state-of-the-art process control systems at customer sites.
- Diagnose and resolve technical issues both on-site and remotely (phone/internet).
- Train customer operators and technicians on system usage—in our facility and in the field.
- Collaborate with engineering and testing teams to stay ahead on system upgrades and innovations.
- Provide feedback from the field to help improve products, processes, and customer satisfaction.
- Take ownership of open issues—follow through to ensure complete resolution.
- Assist in system testing and participate in customer training seminars as needed.
What We’re Looking For
- Technical Knowledge: Associate degree in electronics technology (or equivalent experience). Hands-on experience with process control systems is a big plus.
- Field Experience: At least 1 year of hands-on troubleshooting and commissioning; 3+ years preferred.
- Software/Hardware Familiarity: Allen Bradley PLCs, Wonderware HMI, Windows OS, Networking, VB & SQL.
- Communication: Clear, professional communicator—Spanish language skills are a bonus.
- Problem Solving: Logical thinker with a knack for troubleshooting technical systems.
- Team Player: Collaborative mindset and a passion for continuous learning.

Additional Details
- Travel: Expect to be on the road 50–75% of the time.
- Physical Requirements: Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs, use hand tools, and work on your feet for extended periods.
- Work Environment: Moderate noise levels; combination of office and field-based work.
