Job Description & Requirements
Ferguson is currently seeking an individual to fill an immediate need for a Sales Support Representative. This full-time role offers a starting rate of $22.00 per hour, with the potential to earn more based on experience. Hours are Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. This role is also eligible for a bonus or incentive plan.
Primary Responsibilities
- Support the Residential Trade Group by working with sales associates to meet customer needs and provide product solutions.
- Deliver personalized customer service through timely quotations and accurate sales orders.
- Coordinate deliveries on behalf of customers.
- Answer sales calls, providing information and resolving customer concerns or questions.
- Utilize customer relationship management (CRM) systems and phone systems effectively.
Required Experience
- Industry experience in Plumbing/HVAC preferred.
- 0–3 years of sales and/or customer service experience preferred.
- Strong sales skills with the ability to upsell.
- Proven ability to respond quickly to customer needs and make timely decisions.
- Experience thriving in fast-paced environments and following through on commitments.
- Customer service–oriented mentality with ability to build relationships is a plus.
- General digital literacy, including Microsoft Office.
- Ability to quickly learn product knowledge and processes.
