Job Description & Requirements
Be a problem solver, trusted advisor, and partner to the people and businesses in KeyBank communities. Float Financial Wellness Associates (FWAs) split their time between client servicing and transaction support (70%) and engaging clients to uncover financial needs and provide guidance (30%). This hybrid branch role focuses on attracting new clients, deepening existing relationships, and building client confidence in their finances.
Primary Responsibilities
- Embody a strong client experience culture and positively impact clients’ personal, professional, and financial lives.
- Accurately process all financial service transactions while identifying opportunities to deepen client relationships.
- Resolve complex client servicing issues and provide effective, customized financial wellness recommendations.
- Consistently meet individual activity, behavior, and outcome expectations.
- Participate in or facilitate morning huddles and end-of-day debriefs.
- Follow compliance, audit, and security procedures; balance cash drawer within guidelines.
- Build strong partnerships with branch teammates and business partners to acquire and deepen client relationships.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of product guides, fees, and policies.
- Perform other duties as assigned, adhering to KeyBank policies and ethical standards.
Required Experience
- Experience developing new and existing client relationships, achieving sales goals, and building referral sources through tele-consulting, outside calling, prospecting, and networking.
- Experience handling cash transactions.
- General knowledge of PC Windows applications and calculator use.
- Working knowledge of digital technology (mobile, apps, web-based browsing) with ability to educate clients on digital platforms.
Required Education
- High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent business experience.
Work Environment / Physical Demands
- Prolonged standing (5–8 hours/day), frequent hand use, face-to-face and phone communication with clients.
- Occasional bending and lifting from floor height, frequent forward reach, frequent lifting of 1–10 lbs, occasional lifting up to 30 lbs.
- Ability to routinely operate a motor vehicle with a valid driver’s license.
