Job Description & Requirements

The Non-CDL Driver position at Ferguson offers an opportunity for a daily home schedule with no nights or weekends. This full-time position comes with competitive compensation, an hourly bonus potential, and benefits such as Medical, Dental, Vision, Disability, Life Insurance, and Wellness Programs. The pay rate ranges from $15.30 - $22.24 per hour, and the role is also eligible for a bonus or incentive plan.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Deliver materials to customers, assisting with unloading and ensuring delivery of tickets with material.
  • Pick up customer returns and validate product matches for credit requests.
  • Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the truck.
  • Fuel the truck as needed and report any issues to the supervisor.
  • Adhere to all Department of Transportation (DOT) standards and regulations.
  • Follow and implement all company safety policies and procedures.
  • Assist warehouse personnel with order preparation, receiving, verifying, staging, and stocking incoming materials.
  • Ability to work overtime as needed.

Required Experience:

  • 0-3 years of commercial truck driving experience preferred.
  • Background in warehouse operations and logistics (shipping, receiving, and delivery) is a plus.
  • General digital literacy.
  • Good communication and customer service skills.

Required Education:

  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Valid state-issued driver license.
  • Possession of a DOT Medical Card or the ability to acquire one.

Work Environment:

  • Safe Driver incentive program.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs independently.
  • Pre-employment drug and background screening required.
