This is a traveling position based in and around your geographical area, covering the Mid West regions (WI, IL, IA, IN, OH, OK, NE, SD, ND, AR). The position involves performing major corrective repairs on wind turbine platforms/brands. The role requires up to 90% travel per year. Pay range: $25.00 to $30.00 per hour, with generous travel incentives, benefits, and other comprehensive plans.

Primary Responsibilities

• Perform major corrective repairs on a variety of wind turbine platforms/brands.
• Work at heights and in confined spaces, exposed to outdoor weather conditions.
• Travel within the region of your location, with potential for travel to other sites across the US and Canada.
• Conduct mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic repair work, including main component replacements (gearboxes, main bearings, generators, transformers, and blades).

Required Experience

• At least 2 years of extensive repair work on other O&M turbine models/platforms.
• Experience with mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic repairs, particularly main component replacements in the wind industry.
• Safety-focused mindset and ability to work in a team environment.
