The Wind Turbine Repair Travel Technician II position is a traveling role based in and around your geographical region, hiring throughout the Midwest and Canada, including MN, IA, WI, OK, KS, NE, and MO. This position offers a pay range of $25.00 to $30.00 per hour and generous travel incentives. You will work at heights and in confined spaces while performing major corrective repairs on a wide variety of wind turbine platforms and brands. The role requires up to 90% travel per year, primarily within your region but also to other sites across the U.S. and Canada, as needed.

Primary Responsibilities

• Perform mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic repairs, including main component replacements such as gearboxes, main bearings, generators, transformers, and blades.
• Conduct major corrective repairs on various O&M turbine models and platforms.
• Work at heights and in confined spaces, exposed to weather elements.
• Travel regionally and occasionally to other U.S. and Canadian sites for turbine repairs.

Required Experience

• At least 2 years of extensive repair work on other O&M turbine models/platforms.
• Experience in mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic repairs related to wind turbines.

Location of This Position
This is a traveling position throughout the Midwest and Canada (MN, IA, WI, OK, KS, NE, MO).
