Job Description & Requirements

The Senior Field Representative specializes in the servicing and repair of highly complex office products, with responsibilities including territory management, customer relations, and inventory control. The position may also include a Team Lead or Coordinator role. This role requires a minimum of one Industry Certification.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Specializes in the servicing and repair of a core set of highly complex office products.
  • Manages territory, inventory, and customer relationships.
  • Provides 2nd level technical support to other technicians.
  • Achieves expected productivity levels for assigned workload.
  • Actively drives revenue-generating opportunities through supply leads, contract sales, and equipment assessments.
  • Performs diagnostics, installation, removal, and retrofits on office products.
  • Provides advanced technical training and conducts OJT for technicians.
  • Serves as a role model, exhibiting professional behavior at all times.
  • Effectively manages territory, executes call handling, and coordinates with sales partners to maximize opportunities.
  • Maintains a "car stock" inventory and ensures all administrative tasks are completed accurately.
  • Handles difficult customer situations and ensures high levels of customer satisfaction.

Required Experience

  • 3+ years of related experience, including at least 2 years as a Technology Service Consultant I.
  • Requires 1 Industry Certification.
  • Must have a valid state driver's license and auto insurance for company-related travel.

Required Education

  • High level technical skills, typically gained through completion of technical school.

Working Conditions

  • Office environment with adequate lighting, ventilation, and normal temperature range.
  • Extensive daily travel between customer locations, which may include walking in urban areas.
  • Exposure to minor cuts, burns, and frequent chemical solvents and cleaners.
  • Requires the ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds and move objects weighing up to 400 pounds.
  • Requires frequent walking, standing, bending, reaching, and lifting during installations and service calls.
  • Shift work, overtime, and on-call availability may be required.
  • Daily contact with dispatch, parts departments, Field Service Managers, and customers.
