Ferguson is seeking the right individual to fill an immediate need for a Counter Sales Representative. This role offers a starting pay of $22 per hour or higher depending on experience.

Primary Responsibilities

• Provide advice to customers regarding the best products to fit their needs.
• Process orders via the order management system.
• Operate cash registers and follow established cash-handling procedures.
• Prepare and stage orders for customer pick-up.
• Maintain store appearance and merchandising standards as advised.
• Ensure that merchandise is restocked and placed in designated areas.
• Maintain a safe working environment, including proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).

Required Experience

• 3-5 years of sales experience preferred.
• Basic knowledge of HVAC or plumbing products is preferred.
• General computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
• Ability to lift, load, and deliver merchandise.
• General math skills for cash accounting.
• Strong decision-making and communication skills.
• A willingness and ability to learn is a must.
• Pre-employment drug and background screening required.

Work Environment

• Schedule: Monday - Friday, 7:00 AM - 4:30 PM.
