MasTec Advanced Technologies is seeking Fiber Installation Technicians to join our team. As a Fiber Technician, you will install, repair, splice, and terminate fiber-optic cables for both residential and occasionally commercial customers. Competitive pay is offered, ranging from $22 - $24 per hour, along with benefits such as paid training, medical, dental, and vision options, a 401(k) with company match, and more.

Primary Responsibilities

• Install, splice, repair, and terminate fiber-optic cables and connectors in both indoor and outdoor settings.
• Maintain detailed records of installations, repairs, and equipment used.
• Generate accurate reports on work completed and document network configurations.
• Provide exceptional customer service and ensure superior customer satisfaction.
• Adhere to safety protocols and procedures in this safety-sensitive role.

Required Experience

• Previous experience in fiber-optic installations and troubleshooting is preferred but not required.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
• Excellent customer service skills with a focus on satisfaction.

Work Environment

• This position involves both indoor and outdoor work.
• Technicians will need to lift 60-80 pounds and climb ladders of 28-36 feet.
