MasTec Advanced Technologies is seeking Fiber Installation Technicians to join our team. Our Fiber Technicians provide high-speed cable TV, phone, and internet installation to residential (and occasionally commercial) customers. This role offers competitive pay rates ranging from $22 to $24 per hour, with opportunities for advancement and career growth.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Install, splice, repair, and terminate fiber-optic cables and connectors in both indoor and outdoor settings with new and existing fiber optic infrastructure.
• Maintain detailed records of installations, repairs, and equipment used.
• Generate accurate reports on work completed and document network configurations.
• Ensure the highest quality of service to promote superior customer satisfaction.
• Maintain strict adherence to safety protocols and procedures in this safety-sensitive role.

Required Experience:

• Ability to lift 60-80 pounds and climb 28-36 foot ladders.
• Experience or motivation to learn the latest technologies in fiber optic broadband services.
• Strong customer service skills and the ability to work independently.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment drug test, criminal background check, and MVR (driving record) check.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule that includes weekends or evenings.
• A valid driver’s license.

Work Environment:

• Highly independent work environment, with work performed in both indoor and outdoor settings. Technicians will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of safety and customer service during installations and repairs.
