Primary Responsibilities

• Perform major correctives on a wide variety of wind turbine platforms/brands.
• Work at heights and in confined spaces while being exposed to various weather conditions.
• Typically work 5 days a week, 8-10 hours a day.
• Position may require up to 25% travel per year, with more travel at the start for training.
• Work on-site at a new site start-up featuring 50 V162 EnVentus 6MW turbines.

Required Experience

• At least one year of wind experience OR a wind certificate with 2-3 years of experience in mechanical, hydraulic, or electrical troubleshooting maintenance.
• Experience using and understanding intermediate-level power tools such as hydraulic, power torque, and diagnostic tools (e.g., Fluke meter functions and hydraulic pressure gauge).
• Basic computer operation skills, including internet-based program navigation and the ability to generate and interpret computer data.

Required Education

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license.

Work Environment

• Ability to climb stairs and ladders while carrying up to 50 lbs. in weight.
• Must adhere to safety protocols, including confined space and energy isolation.
