Primary Responsibilities

• Perform major correctives on a wide variety of wind turbine platforms and brands.
• Work at heights and in confined spaces, while being exposed to the elements of weather.
• Typically work 5 days a week, 8-10 hours per day.
• Travel up to 33% per year, with more travel at the start of the position for training at other site locations.

Required Experience

• At least one year of wind experience or a wind certificate with 2-3 years of experience in a mechanical, hydraulic, or electrical troubleshooting maintenance role.
• Experience using and understanding intermediate-level power tools such as hydraulic, power torque, and diagnostic tools (e.g., Fluke meter functions and hydraulic pressure gauge).

Required Education

• High School Diploma or equivalent.

Additional Requirements

• Valid driver’s license.
• Safety-focused mindset.
• Ability to work in a team environment, while being motivated and taking initiative in daily tasks.
• Ability to identify solutions to issues with process of elimination.
• Ability to climb stairs and ladders while carrying up to 50 lbs.
• Basic computer operation skills, familiarity with internet-based program navigation, and ability to generate and interpret computer data.
• Ability to read, interpret, and understand drawings and schematics with attention to safety protocols (e.g., confined space, energy isolation).

Target Pay Range: $24.72 to $29+
