Primary Responsibilities

• Perform work on assigned wind turbines with minimal to no supervision.
• Modify procedures and plans; take appropriate action based on general direction.
• Develop and implement well-thought-out action plans.
• Provide technical direction and mentorship to lower-level technicians.
• Perform maintenance and repairs, which may include climbing 250 feet or working in small spaces.
• Work in varying weather conditions, lifting tools and equipment up to 50 lbs.
• Utilize advanced tools and diagnostic equipment, including hydraulic rams, inductive heaters, and advanced fluke meters.
• Collaborate with team members and communicate with customers.
• Recommend improvements to safety and quality procedures.

Required Experience

• At least one year of technical wind experience.
• Experience using complex power tools and diagnostic equipment.
• Advanced working knowledge of industrial safety practices and protocols.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.
• Basic computer operation skills and data interpretation.

Required Education

• Three-year technical associate degree or equivalent.

Work Environment

• Regularly work at heights up to 250 feet.
• Perform duties in confined spaces and in varying weather conditions.
• Physical activity includes climbing ladders and carrying up to 50 lbs.
