MasTec Advanced Technologies is seeking Fiber Installation Technicians to join our team. In this role, technicians will deliver high-speed cable TV, phone, and internet installation services to residential and occasional commercial customers. Pay: $22 - $24/hour.

Primary Responsibilities

• Install, splice, repair, and terminate fiber-optic cables and connectors in both indoor and outdoor environments.

• Maintain detailed records of installations, repairs, and equipment used.

• Generate accurate reports on completed work and document network configurations.

• Demonstrate personal ethics, honesty, flexibility, and responsibility in work performance.

• Deliver high-quality service to ensure superior customer satisfaction.

• Adhere to strict safety protocols and procedures in this safety-sensitive role.

Required Experience

• Ability to multi-task and work independently.

• Aptitude and motivation to learn and master new technologies.

• Strong customer service orientation.

• Ability to recommend solutions and products based on customer needs.

• Valid driver’s license required.

Work Environment

• Highly independent work environment.

• Must be able to work flexible schedules, including weekends and evenings.

• Must be able to lift 60-80 pounds and climb 28-36 foot ladders.

• Must pass a pre-employment drug test, criminal background check, and MVR check.
