Job Description & Requirements
The Area Customer Service Coordinator supports daily operations, implementations, and service expansions across multiple Managed Services accounts within an assigned region. Reporting to the Enterprise Services Manager (ESM) or Area Operations Manager (AOM), this role supplements onsite teams, ensures contractual compliance with Ricoh Service Excellence standards, and drives a consistent, high‑quality customer experience at each location.
Primary Responsibilities

Provide on‑site operational support across multiple customer facilities, filling in for vacancies and peak‑workload needs.

Recruit, onboard, and cross‑train new team members; help create and update Site Procedure Guides and training materials.

Inspect sites for safety, procedural accuracy, and compliance with customer contracts; document findings and recommend improvements.

Assist with new‑account launches and service expansions in coordination with Field Implementation Managers.

Monitor daily service performance, gather end‑user feedback, and escalate issues to ESM/AOM until resolved.

Maintain accurate records for monthly operations reviews; support data collection and reporting requirements.

Foster strong customer relationships and promote Ricoh Service Excellence methodology at every account.

Travel within a 40‑ to 50‑mile radius (or as business requires) to support various locations.
Required Experience

Minimum 12 months of related customer‑service or office‑services experience.

Intermediate proficiency with common software applications and network file management.

Ability to travel between sites; valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and insurance may be required.
Required Education
-
High‑school diploma or GED (post‑secondary education preferred).
Work Environment
-
Office/warehouse settings with standard lighting, ventilation, temperature, and noise levels.

Frequent walking, standing, bending, and lifting/carrying up to 50 lbs; occasional pushing/pulling wheeled devices up to 400 lbs.

Variable schedules to cover sites that may open as early as 6 a.m., close after 7 p.m., or operate weekends; frequent local car travel.
