Ferguson is seeking the right individual to fill an immediate need for a Counter Sales Representative. This role offers competitive compensation with hourly bonus potential. Primary Responsibilities:

• Provide advice to customers regarding the best products to fit their needs
• Process orders using the order management system
• Operate cash registers and follow cash handling procedures
• Prepare and stage orders for customer pick up
• Maintain store appearance and merchandising standards
• Restock merchandise in proper areas
• Maintain a safe working environment, including use of PPE
• May perform driver duties as needed

Required Experience:

• Prior customer service experience preferred
• Basic knowledge of HVAC and/or plumbing products preferred
• General computer skills, including Microsoft Office
• Ability to lift, load, and deliver merchandise
• General math skills for handling cash
• Strong decision making and communication skills
• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Valid state-issued driver’s license required
• Pre-employment drug and background screening required

Work Environment:

• Schedule: Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM, plus one Saturday per month from 7:30 AM – 12:00 PM
• Use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) required
• Physically active environment involving lifting and loading merchandise
