Job Description & Requirements
Ferguson is seeking the right individual to fill an immediate need for a Counter Sales Representative. This role offers competitive compensation with hourly bonus potential. Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide advice to customers regarding the best products to fit their needs
- Process orders using the order management system
- Operate cash registers and follow cash handling procedures
- Prepare and stage orders for customer pick up
- Maintain store appearance and merchandising standards
- Restock merchandise in proper areas
- Maintain a safe working environment, including use of PPE
- May perform driver duties as needed
Required Experience:
- Prior customer service experience preferred
- Basic knowledge of HVAC and/or plumbing products preferred
- General computer skills, including Microsoft Office
- Ability to lift, load, and deliver merchandise
- General math skills for handling cash
- Strong decision making and communication skills
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Valid state-issued driver’s license required
- Pre-employment drug and background screening required

Work Environment:
- Schedule: Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM, plus one Saturday per month from 7:30 AM – 12:00 PM
- Use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) required
- Physically active environment involving lifting and loading merchandise
