Job Description & Requirements


This important role will be examining, verifying accuracy, and processing shipping and receiving documents, manifests, invoices, and bills of lading. Responsibilities also include processing shipments using UPS World Ship, FedEx Ship Manager, and other carrier systems. The role supports timely shipping and receiving operations to meet both internal and external customer demands, and requires coordination with customer shipping notification systems and export brokers as needed, including export processing via AES.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Handle incoming and outgoing shipments/receivables by physically checking them.

  • Check products for defects and accuracy.

  • Process customer orders and ensure correct shipments are dispatched.

  • Perform receiving duties and verify delivered items.

  • Report and replace defective items prior to packing.

  • Prepare and affix labels on shipments.

  • Prepare invoices and delivery orders.

  • Record all transactions in the company database.

  • Match and verify accuracy of orders with correct quantities and types.

  • Pack and label items properly.

  • Load items safely and timely onto shipment vehicles.

  • Operate Forklift/Reach Lift to transport shipments within storage areas.

  • Organize space for incoming shipments.

  • Maintain cleanliness and order in the warehouse.

The compensation for this position is $20.00.

Required Experience

  • Comfortable working with ERP systems and inventory control software.

  • Ability to follow instructions accurately.

  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.

  • Reliable, honest, and punctual.

  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

  • Requires accuracy in reading and writing numbers.

  • Capable of standing or sitting for long periods.

Required Education

  • High School Graduate
