Job Description & Requirements

The Onsite Licensed Sales Counselor is responsible for meeting with prospective buyers to communicate, persuade, and conduct final sales for newly constructed residential homes. This role seeks new leads by continually contacting prospective buyers, referrals, brokers, and other prospects.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Greet visitors and provide literature, handouts, and information on homes and floor plans.

  • Demonstrate model homes and home sites; explain construction and options.

  • Overcome objections and close sales to ensure customer satisfaction.

  • Handle offers and applications; provide financing information to buyers.

  • Follow up on loan applications; monitor and document sales transactions.

  • Maintain sales files and complete accurate paperwork and system entries.

  • Ensure models and communities are clean and marketing materials are up to date.

  • Network, generate leads, and follow up with prospects; use CMAs and data tools.

  • Contact and present to real estate brokers; host community events and grand openings.

Required Experience:

  • Previous sales experience required; new home sales experience preferred.

  • Proven customer-centric approach with ability to close deals.

  • Strong relationship-building and communication skills.

  • Ability to work in a team and make fact-based decisions.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).

  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Required Education:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.

  • Current local real estate license required.

Work Environment (if provided):

  • Must be able to stand, sit, walk stairs, observe details, and lift/move up to 20 lbs.

  • Periodic work in outdoor weather conditions.

  • Position is on-site at a community in Tucson (location TBD).
