Job Description & Requirements

This intermediate-level role operates within a production shop environment and involves preparing, configuring, and maintaining copiers and related equipment with minimal supervision. The technician ensures all devices are delivery-ready, adhering to quality, productivity, and safety standards.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Set up and prepare assigned equipment using the Supply Chain Install/Return Checklist.

  • Program devices to meet customer-specific configurations based on Customer Configuration Documents (CCD).

  • Troubleshoot equipment failures and perform repairs as needed.

  • Accurately record work time and job completion using WMS to support productivity tracking.

  • Consistently meet quality and productivity benchmarks.

  • Maintain and be accountable for assigned tools and company assets.

  • Keep work area clean and well-organized.

  • Complete administrative tasks accurately and on time.

  • Assist with onboarding and training of new shop technicians.

  • Complete all assigned technical and safety training.

  • Follow all safety, security, and company policies.

  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Required Experience

  • Minimum of 2 years’ relevant experience required.

  • Working knowledge of mechanical systems, electronics, and basic computer operations.

Required Education

  • High school diploma or GED preferred.

  • Completion of a mechanical/electronics trade program is a plus.

Work Environment

  • Typical warehouse setting with appropriate lighting, ventilation, and noise levels.

  • Exposure to cleaning chemicals and solvents.

  • Physical demands include lifting equipment up to 75 lbs., and maneuvering wheeled devices weighing up to 700 lbs.

  • Frequent bending, kneeling, and stooping may be required.

  • Willingness to work overtime or outside regular hours when necessary.
