MasTec Advanced Technologies is seeking Fiber Installation Technicians to join its team. Technicians will provide high-speed cable TV, phone, and internet installation to residential and occasionally commercial customers. Pay range: $22 - $24 per hour.

Primary Responsibilities

• Install, splice, repair, and terminate fiber-optic cables and connectors in both indoor and outdoor settings.

• Maintain detailed records of installations, repairs, and equipment used.

• Generate accurate reports on work completed and document network configurations.

• Apply ethics, honesty, initiative, flexibility, and responsibility in work assignments.

• Ensure superior customer satisfaction by providing high-quality service.

• Adhere strictly to safety protocols and procedures.

Required Experience

• Strong customer service orientation.

• Motivation to learn and master new technologies.

• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.

• Capable of advising customers on solutions and products to meet their needs.

• Valid driver’s license.

• Ability to pass a pre-employment drug test, criminal background check, and MVR (driving record) check.

• Ability to lift 60-80 pounds and climb 28-36 foot ladders.

• Flexibility to work weekends or evenings.

Work Environment

• Highly independent work environment.

• Physically demanding role involving lifting and climbing.

• Requires flexible scheduling, including weekends and evenings.
