Could you be the full‑time Logistics Operator in Boston we’re looking for?
Your future role
Pay: $25/hour
Take on a new challenge and apply your hands‑on logistics expertise in a fast‑paced operational environment. You’ll work alongside a motivated, detail‑oriented and collaborative team as you help keep our depot operations running smoothly and efficiently.
You’ll play a key role in ensuring accurate, on‑time movement of materials that support critical service operations across the business. Day‑to‑day, you’ll partner with warehouse, customer service and transportation teams—caring for receipt processing, material storage, order fulfillment and safe shipment preparation.
You’ll specifically take care of receiving, storing, picking, packing and shipping materials, as well as supporting data accuracy in SAP and other depot systems. You’ll also help maintain a safe workplace and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
We’ll look to you for:
- Accurate same‑day processing of all inbound receipts
- High‑quality, on‑time picking, packing and shipping of customer orders
- Reliable execution of cycle counts and participation in physical inventories
- Precise data entry of material movements, transactions and posting activities
- Safe daily forklift operation and adherence to depot safety standards
- Effective support to customer service teams to resolve material requests and inquiries
All about you
We value passion and attitude over experience. You don’t need to have every skill, but here are some qualities and experience we believe will help you succeed:
- A background or interest in warehouse operations or logistics
- Experience or understanding of domestic/international shipping requirements
- Knowledge of material handling practices and inventory processes
- Familiarity with SAP, or another ERP, and basic Word/Excel skills
- A current forklift certification (required)
- A proactive, detail‑oriented and collaborative approach to your work
- Strong communication skills and a willingness to support customers and colleagues
Things you’ll enjoy
Join us on a life‑long transformative journey — the rail industry is here to stay, so you can grow and develop new skills and experiences throughout your career.
- Enjoy stability, challenges and a long‑term career free from repetitive daily routines
- Work closely with helpful colleagues across depot and service operations
- Contribute to meaningful and safety‑critical service delivery
- Benefit from development and learning opportunities across functions and geographies
- Build your career in logistics, warehouse operations, materials management or beyond
- Receive a fair and dynamic reward package that recognizes performance and potential, plus competitive social coverage (life, medical, 401k)
You don’t need to be a train enthusiast to thrive with us. We guarantee that when you step onto one of our trains with your friends or family, you’ll be proud. If you’re up for the challenge, we’d love to hear from you!
