This entry-level position is responsible for broadband installation and troubleshooting of Comcast’s voice, video, and data services. Compensation starts at $18.20/hour with quarterly bonuses and paid training. Primary Responsibilities:

• Perform installations and service changes in compliance with safety practices and local regulations.

• Troubleshoot service from the network drop to customer equipment.

• Design and assess basic home networks using coaxial, Ethernet, Wi-Fi, and MoCA.

• Document service activities in customer accounts.

• Provide advanced Wi-Fi setup and placement support.

• Educate customers on services, equipment use, and policies.

• Maintain vehicle and tools in safe, working condition.

• Operate and track customer premise equipment (CPE).

• Use digital tools for diagnostics and task management.

• Climb poles, use ladders and bucket trucks for installations/repairs.

• Lift equipment over 70 lbs, work in confined spaces and near power lines.

• Drive a company vehicle and maintain a valid driver’s license.

• Complete required certifications within set timeframes.

• Work flexible schedules, including weekends, evenings, holidays, and possible 10-hour shifts.

Required Experience:

• No prior experience required; suitable for individuals with technical aptitude or customer service/trade backgrounds.

• Must meet physical requirements and be adaptable to fieldwork conditions.

Required Education:

• High School Diploma or GED.

Work Environment:

• Exposure to varying weather conditions (heat, cold, rain).

• Work may occur in crawl spaces, attics, near moderate noise levels, and in homes with animals.

• Schedule may include weekends, mandatory overtime, and 10-hour shifts.
