The hourly rate starts at $32.06, depending on circumstances including an applicant’s skills and qualifications, certain degrees and certifications, prior job experience, market data, and other relevant factors. Additional compensation includes eligibility to earn a performance-based bonus or commissions on completed sales.
$5,000 sign-on bonus is offered.

Primary Responsibilities

• Safely operate a propane delivery truck along provided delivery routes.
• Fill residential and/or commercial bulk tanks with propane.
• Deliver propane cylinders to commercial/industrial customers.
• Perform daily functions in a safe manner by adhering to federal and state codes, regulations, and AmeriGas Safety and Operations Policies and Procedures.
• Consistently use required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
• Depending on fluctuating needs, work 8 to 12-hour shifts, including weekend, on-call, and overtime.

Required Experience

• Valid Class A or B CDL.
• Must be willing to obtain hazmat and tanker endorsements (reimbursement provided).
• Acceptable driving record.
• Satisfactory completion of a DOT physical, drug test, and background check.
• Ability to lift up to 70 lbs.
