Job Description & Requirements

Ferguson is seeking an Installation Associate – Entry Level – Appliances to deliver, install, and remove a wide variety of appliances in commercial and residential settings. This full-time role offers a starting salary of $24.00/hr or more, based on experience, and includes full company-paid training, excellent benefits, and opportunities for career growth. Schedule: Monday to Friday, 6:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., plus overtime as needed.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Perform basic appliance installations and learn custom appliance installations with company-provided training.
  • Handle and install gas and electric household appliances such as washers, dryers, ranges, and refrigerators.
  • Ensure appliances are damage-free, installed accurately to manufacturer specifications, and fully functional.
  • Interact courteously and professionally with builders, designers, and on-site customers.
  • Attend company-paid training seminars and certifications to stay current with product changes.

Required Experience

  • 1+ years of appliance installation service experience preferred.
  • Ability to lift 70+ lbs frequently and 90+ lbs occasionally with equipment assistance (stair climber, oven lifts, air sled).
  • Strong customer service skills and ability to deliver “white glove service.”
  • Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn.
  • Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating instructions, and procedure manuals.
  • Pre-employment drug and background screening required.

Work Environment / Working Conditions

  • Physical role requiring frequent heavy lifting with equipment assistance.
  • Overtime as needed beyond standard schedule.
