Ferguson is currently seeking a Pipe Yard Associate to join our warehouse team! 

Schedule: Monday – Friday 1:00 pm to 9:30 pm. Occasional overtime available.  

Responsibilities: 

• Load and unload trucks; receive product verifying accuracy, picking and packing product and putting product away in an appropriate manner 

• Safely operate various warehouse equipment to pull and prepare outbound customer orders 

• Will be cross-trained to work in the warehouse 

• Maintain good housekeeping of pipe yard and warehouse 

• Must adhere to all safety regulations, including the correct usage of personal protective equipment (PPE) 

• Communicate with manager, drivers and sales staff regularly to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction is achieved 

Requirements 

• 1+ years of experience working in warehouse environments 

• Knowledge of PVF (pipe, valves, fittings, cutting, threading, grooving, etc.) is preferred 

• Forklift certification and previous RF gun experience 

• Combilift experience is preferred 

• High attention to detail 

• Ability to lift 50 lbs.; push/pull a cart weighing more than this 

• Computer experience and ability to perform basic math problems required; knowledge of an order entry system (JDE/Oracle) a plus 

• Continued focus on improving system efficiencies and business practices. 

• Ability to prioritize workload appropriately in order to balance multiple demands and meet timelines as required 

• Positive demeanor, dependability, and strong work ethic 

• Self-starter with ability to learn our systems quickly
