MasTec Advanced Technologies is seeking Fiber Installation Technicians to provide high-speed cable TV, phone, and internet installation to residential and occasional commercial customers. As a Fiber Technician, you will work with fiber optic broadband equipment and services, including installations, repairs, splicing, and integration. This role offers competitive pay, with a salary range of $22 - $24 per hour. Primary Responsibilities:

• Install, splice, repair, and terminate fiber-optic cables and connectors in both indoor and outdoor settings.
• Maintain detailed records of installations, repairs, and equipment used, generating reports on work completed.
• Adhere to safety protocols and procedures in this safety-sensitive role.
• Provide excellent customer service and ensure customer satisfaction.
• Work independently, managing a flexible schedule that may include weekends and evenings.

Required Experience:

• Ability to lift 60-80 pounds and climb 28-36 foot ladders.
• Previous experience in fiber optic installation or a related field is preferred, but not required (training will be provided).
• Strong customer service skills and a willingness to learn new technologies.
• Must be able to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
• A valid driver’s license

Work Environment:

• This position involves both indoor and outdoor work, with physical labor, including climbing ladders and lifting heavy equipment.
