The Delivery Truck Driver - CDL Class A position offers a starting pay of $22.00 per hour, with potential for higher pay based on experience. The role provides opportunities for growth and includes a variety of benefits, such as a safe driver incentive, hourly bonus potential, 401(K) retirement savings plan, paid time off, medical, dental, and vision insurance, and more. This position works Monday to Friday, from 5 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., with the possibility of overtime. The role does not require nights or weekends, offering a great work-life balance.
Primary Responsibilities
- Deliver materials to customers, including assistance with loading and unloading and ensuring delivery of ticket with materials.
- Pick up customer returns and validate product match for credit requests.
- Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections, fuel the truck as needed, and report any problems to the supervisor.
- Follow all DOT (Department of Transportation) standards and regulations.
- Follow and implement all company safety policies and procedures.
- Assist warehouse personnel with pulling, preparing orders for shipment, receiving, verifying, staging, and stocking incoming materials.
- Ability to work overtime as required.
Required Experience
- 0-3 years of commercial truck driving experience is preferred.
- Background in warehouse operations, logistics, shipping, receiving, and delivery is a plus.
- Good communication, customer service skills, and general digital literacy.
Required Education
- A valid CDL is required.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Possession of a DOT Medical Card or the ability to acquire one.
