Primary Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance and installation work on assigned wind turbines with minimal supervision.
• Adhere to defined schedules, procedures, and safety protocols.
• Provide mentorship to entry-level technicians.
• Work at heights of up to 250 feet and in confined spaces.
• Carry tools and equipment while climbing ladders and stairs.
• Perform troubleshooting using hydraulic, power torque, and diagnostic tools.
• Maintain professionalism, safety, and attention to detail while ensuring high-quality work.
• Collaborate with teammates to recommend improvements for safety and quality.

Required Experience

• At least 1 year of technical wind industry experience OR
• Six (6) months of technical wind industry experience with a certificate of completion from a wind technician program OR
• Minimum of three (3) years of electrical, hydraulic, mechanical, composite skills, or heavy machinery experience.
• Ability to climb stairs and ladders while carrying up to 50 lbs.
• Experience using intermediate-level power tools (e.g., Flukemeter functions, hydraulic pressure gauge).
• Valid driver’s license.
• Basic computer skills, including internet-based program navigation.
• Ability to read, interpret, and understand drawings and schematics.
• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with coworkers and customers.

Required Education

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
