Primary Responsibilities
- Perform maintenance and installation work on assigned wind turbines with minimal supervision.
- Adhere to defined schedules, procedures, and safety protocols.
- Provide mentorship to entry-level technicians.
- Work at heights of up to 250 feet and in confined spaces.
- Carry tools and equipment while climbing ladders and stairs.
- Perform troubleshooting using hydraulic, power torque, and diagnostic tools.
- Maintain professionalism, safety, and attention to detail while ensuring high-quality work.
- Collaborate with teammates to recommend improvements for safety and quality.
Required Experience
- At least 1 year of technical wind industry experience OR
- Six (6) months of technical wind industry experience with a certificate of completion from a wind technician program OR
- Minimum of three (3) years of electrical, hydraulic, mechanical, composite skills, or heavy machinery experience.
- Ability to climb stairs and ladders while carrying up to 50 lbs.
- Experience using intermediate-level power tools (e.g., Flukemeter functions, hydraulic pressure gauge).
- Valid driver’s license.
- Basic computer skills, including internet-based program navigation.
- Ability to read, interpret, and understand drawings and schematics.
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with coworkers and customers.

- High School Diploma or equivalent.
