Job Description & Requirements
This entry-level position is responsible for broadband installation and troubleshooting of Comcast’s voice, video, and data services. Compensation is $18.20/hr with quarterly bonuses and paid training. The role includes a comprehensive benefits package effective Day 1, including health, dental, and vision insurance, 21 paid days off, 8 company-observed holidays, and access to highly discounted cable services.
Primary Responsibilities:

Perform installations and service changes in compliance with company procedures, safety practices, NEC/NESC requirements, and local ordinances.

Troubleshoot issues from the network drop to customer equipment, including home network assessment and setup using coaxial, Ethernet, Wi-Fi, and MoCA.

Record service activity in customer accounts.

Determine Wi-Fi device placement and provide customer education on setup and use.

Educate customers on Comcast services, policies, and equipment.

Maintain and stock vehicle and tools; report repairs, losses, or incidents.

Reconcile CPE equipment with warehouse.

Operate and maintain tools such as hand tools, power tools, meters, and ladders.

Use digital tools for work order management and diagnostics.

Obtain/maintain required licenses and background checks as applicable.

Perform work on poles and roofs, including climbing ladders and using bucket trucks.

Handle materials and tools; lift loads of 70 lbs or more and work in confined spaces.

Drive a company vehicle responsibly and maintain a valid driver's license.

Complete required training and certifications within specified timeframes.

Maintain regular attendance and availability for variable schedules including nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime.

Must meet physical demands and adapt to various work environments.
Required Education:

High School Diploma or GED.
Work Environment:

Exposure to varying weather conditions (heat, cold, rain, precipitation).

Work in confined spaces such as attics and crawl spaces, near power lines, and in moderate noise levels.

Exposure to pets or animals during in-home service visits.

May include 10-hour shifts, weekend work, and mandatory overtime.
