Weather Shield is currently seeking motivated individuals to assemble components to build window units. Starting pay at $18.00/hr plus shift differentials for 2nd shift with potential merit increases after 6 months.
Job Summary:
The General Production Worker is responsible for performing various tasks in the assembly and manufacturing of windows and doors. This position supports production operations by assembling components, operating machinery, handling materials, and ensuring the quality of finished products in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:
Assemble, glaze, and fabricate window and door units using hand tools, power tools, and production machinery
Operate equipment such as saws, punches, and presses according to safety and quality standards
Inspect materials and finished products for quality, reporting defects or issues to a lead or supervisor
Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and work instructions to meet daily production goals
Load and unload materials or parts onto production lines or workstations
Maintain a clean and organized work area to ensure a safe and efficient workplace
Adhere to company safety policies and procedures at all times
Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and team meetings
Perform other duties as assigned to support team and production needs
Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED preferred
Previous experience in a manufacturing or assembly environment is a plus but not required
Ability to use measuring tools (tape measure, calipers, etc.) accurately or willingness to learn
Ability to operate hand/power tools or willingness to learn
Ability to stand, bend, lift, and move for extended period
Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work
Reliable attendance and ability to work in a team-oriented environment
Qualifications
- Ability to read, understand and follow directions and diagrams
- Ability to lift and maneuver 50lbs or more
- Must have excellent hand-eye coordination
- Must be capable of utilizing various hand and power tools
