This entry-level role is responsible for broadband installation and troubleshooting of Comcast’s voice, video, and data services. Compensation is $18.20/hour, with quarterly bonuses and paid training. The role includes a comprehensive benefits package effective Day 1, including health, dental, and vision insurance, 21 paid days off, 8 company-observed holidays, and highly discounted cable services.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Install and modify services in compliance with company procedures, NEC/NESC standards, and local ordinances.

• Troubleshoot connectivity issues from the network drop to customer equipment; design and set up basic home networks using coaxial cable, Ethernet, Wi-Fi, and MoCA.

• Maintain timely and accurate records of all service activity.

• Evaluate Wi-Fi networks for optimal device placement and provide customer education.

• Engage customers and provide information on Comcast products, services, and equipment.

• Maintain and stock tools and vehicles; report damages, incidents, or repairs.

• Reconcile issued customer premise equipment (CPE) with the warehouse.

• Operate and maintain installation tools, including hand tools, power tools, meters, and ladders.

• Use digital tools for work order management and diagnostics.

• Obtain and maintain appropriate licenses and background checks as required.

• Work on poles and rooftops using safety gear, ladders, and bucket trucks.

• Lift loads of 70 lbs or more; work in crawl spaces, attics, and areas near power lines.

• Drive a company vehicle and maintain a valid driver’s license.

• Complete all required training and pass certification exams within designated timeframes.

• Meet or exceed performance goals and metrics.

• Be available for flexible schedules, including weekends, evenings, holidays, and mandatory overtime.

• Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Experience:

• Ideal for candidates with technical aptitude or experience in trades or customer service.

• Must be physically capable of performing fieldwork in varied conditions.

Required Education:

• High School Diploma or GED.

Work Environment:

• Exposure to diverse weather conditions including heat, cold, rain, and other precipitation.

• Work in confined spaces (crawlspaces, attics), around moderate noise levels, and near electrical sources.

• Potential exposure to animals during home visits.

• Work schedules may include 10-hour shifts, weekends, evenings, and overtime.
